Oakwood Village Urban Market August 17

Each market day has specially selected vendors combined with a range of activities and entertainment.

Our August 17th Line Up

We have some great return vendors and a few new ones to look out for.

Visca Toronto coming back with Spanish Street food. They were recently featured in Toronto Life magazine. They are serving horchata, gelato and paella. What a treat!

Caribbean Queen is a neighbourhood staple and they have their service down to a science. Look for famed drum-style jerk chicken, an expected range of Caribbean curries and great vegetarian options with roti.

Kombucha . . . Ice cream . . . perogies . . . if we are lucky!

Plant Grow Share a Row is coming through. We heard rumors of sweet corn.

We also have a range of artisans and vendors selling great personalized gifts,  craft and jewelry work, and wellness solutions.

Activations for the Day

The Ontario School of Ballet is co-hosting the August 17th Urban Market. Expect a delightful market experience with ballerinas taking to the stage.

Rawlinson ROAR! will be doing face painting as part of their fundraising and public awareness campaign for new landscaping of J K Rawlinson public school grounds.

The Oakwood Library will host a story time early in the day.  Check our facebook page for schedule posted the day before.

The Oakwood Village BIA is bringing hula hoops, sidewalk chalk and skipping ropes and a few prizes! Stay tuned.
