Neighbourhood

Oakwood Village BIA is located just above the Toronto cityscape in the former Township of York.  Oakwood Avenue businesses have served the neighbourhood since the 1920s.  Displaying a combination of old world charm and urban style, Oakwood Avenue forms part of network of city streets influenced by natural geography, ancient trail routes, and urbanization.

The commercial district runs along Oakwood Ave, between Charles Breton Park and Bude Street, with adjacent Vaughan Rd businesses.

We are part of both Ward 9, on the South and Ward 12 on the North. We are easily accessible by every mode of transportation. We are <10 min walk along Oakwood coming from either St Clair Ave W or Eglinton Avenue W.

For those visiting the midtown west-end, plan a hike though Cedarvale Park and work you way up this side before you head home.
